Exhibition: The Righteous Among the Gentiles Who Saved Jews from the Nazis

November 20 @ 7:15 pm10:00 pm

How Individual Christians and Muslims Saved Jews from the Nazis

Using a selection of panels the heroic actions of individuals from across Europe are portrayed – including the work of Aristides de Sousa Menzies and the new museum housed in the new museum housed in the iconic Caso do Pasal.

This a powerful exhibition featuring 15 visually compelling panels, each portraying extraordinary individuals—Christians and Muslims—who risked their lives and those of their families to save Jews during the Nazi era.

Originating in Sheffield, UK, the exhibition was formally adopted by Sheffield City Council in 2024 as a meaningful contribution to community cohesion. It serves as both a historical archive and a call to moral reflection.
